Is training accredited or transferable?

We've launched #DreamBigAtHome!

Our new lockdown website has hundreds of activities and games to do at home, weekly challenges to try and a regular programme of live workshops and events online, as well as information on how our groups can operate during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Woodcraft Folk training is not currently accredited, but many skills you will learn are transferable.

Sometimes Woodcraft Folk experience can count towards hours logged on another training course such as Youth Work.

Contact Folk Office if you would like evidence that you have undertaken training run nationally.

Your group leader may willing to provide a reference for you for employment/education - just ask.

Safeguarding or first aid courses delivered by other providers may be accredited - speak to your group or district to see if they can subsidise your attendance at these courses.
