Biblins Bimble

As our centres plan to reopen Biblins encourage you to put your boots on to complete the Biblins Bimble.

Biblins is nestled along the River Wye and hosts part of the Wye Valley Walk. As COVID restrictions are lifted we encourage you to walk, swim or cycle the equivalent length of the Wye Valley Walk from 29th March to 31st May 2021. The Biblins Bimble challenge is in two parts, you can either:


1. Swim, walk or cycle 146 miles (the length of the Wye Valley Walk) over 9 weeks in your local area

Jack Petchey Intern

Woodcraft Folk is delighted to be able to host a full-time intern during 2021/22. The post has been funded by The Jack Petchey Foundation and will provide an opportunity for someone to develop their skills in youth work.

The intern will work across London supporting young people, volunteers, groups and the wider community both in person and online.

Woodcraft Folk joined over 1,000 organisations adding their name to an open letter to Number 10. The letter demands greater support to the voluntary or community sector as we support communities to recover from COVID.

The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) is reviewing the programmes and services it supports for young people outside of school (including the National Citizen Service, youth clubs, youth volunteering opportunities and local sports/arts groups).

For two weeks each year at the end of February and start of March, thousands of individuals, companies and groups across the UK come together to share the stories of the people who grow our food and drinks. mine our gold and who grow the cotton in our clothes, people who are often exploited and underpaid. We are joining with the Fairtrade Foundation and thousands of others to celebrate Fairtrade Fortnight 2021!
