This series of webinars is taking each aim and principle of Woodcraft Folk and presenting how members can support children to engage and explore them. This will involve bringing together the outcome matrix, badgework and will reflect on age appropriate ways to engage our youngest members in our values.

One Solution: Resolution! Is a five day seminar aimed at 13-15 year olds offering an alternative education equipping young people to recognise and combat violence in their everyday lives; teaching them to think critically and creatively about the world using a diverse range of perspectives.
Pioneer Peace Pack Activity 6 - Positive About Peace
Aim of the activity:
To get question the idea that war is inevitable and to think about what a peaceful world could be like.
What you will need:
Pens and paper;
Flip chart sheet and marker pens;
Blutac;
Roll of drawing paper/poster paper or back of an old roll of wall paper;
Paints, crayons, felt tips etc;

Aim of the activity:
To explore the experience of child soldiers and the reasons why they have become involved in conflicts.

Two chairs;

The first exercise looks at bias in media reporting of conflict and war situations. The second is an open-ended opportunity for Pioneers to gain a deeper understanding of a particular conflict situation.
