November’s safeguarding webinar will look at how to manage the risks associated with the activities you run in your group. A risk assessment is needed for all group night activities, and we will explore how this should be done in practice.

We will also:

  • Examine the sorts of risks that you may encounter, and measures to control them
  • Share template documents that you can adapt for your own needs
  • Discuss the insurance cover that Woodcraft Folk provides for groups and volunteers
  • Identify further resources and training to support you

This session is aimed Local Safeguarding Leads and any volunteers leading group night activities with Woodcraft Folk groups of any age.

If you are unable to join the session live, a recording will be available following the event via the Training page.
